Department of Physical Education

The Department started in the year 1981. As the district holds a lion’s share of youngsters with athletic caliber, there are provisions to upgrade the department with core UG and PG programs. The department has highly qualified faculty. Although the department has only one faculty member, limiting its core programs, cutting-edge facilities like a 400-meter synthetic track with a football field, an indoor stadium, and an aquatic complex are in the making.

Sports Infrastructure

The department provides several sports facilities, including:

• 200 mtrs Track for track events
• Indoor and Outdoor Badminton Courts
• Soccer Ground

Faculty

The Department currently has one faculty member and offers an open course based on the choice of students from other departments.
